Steeped in rich musical heritage and bursting with talent, Birmingham Music Awards 2019 celebrates the first class creatives in the UK’s second city.
The Birmingham Music Awards return on Thursday 16th May 2019 at one of Brum’s newest live music venues, The Mill Digbeth.
The ceremony brings together and recognises the achievements of musicians and industry professionals across the Midlands, aiming to put Birmingham on the map as a must-attend event for musicians and fans.
The BMAs are supported by ambassadors including Duran Duran’s John Taylor, UB40, Ace from Skunk Anansie and Dapz on the Map, who has recently been signed to Sony.
There are multiple awards up for grabs; including Best Song, Best Band, Best Live Venue, Best Rap/Grime Act, Rising Star, Best Radio Station, Best DJ, Brum Bastion, and Lifetime Achievement.
After a sell-out album tour, Birmingham indie rock band JAWS have been announced as the headline act performing at the awards ceremony, with plenty more special guest performances yet to be announced.
If you are a musician, music professional or a fan looking for the opportunity to enjoy live music and network, this event is not to be missed. Standing tickets are £25 and VIPs are £85.
VIP tickets include complimentary glasses of fizz, a VIP bar, private afterparty and the chance to meet artists, sponsors, patrons, judges, and ambassadors. All ticket holders will receive a free welcome drink on the red carpet.
The BMAs will be held on Thursday 16th May 2019 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm and last entry is at 6.45 pm. The event is 14+ and under 25s may be asked to show ID.
