DIWALI ON TRAFALGAR SQUARE

Trafalgar Square 3rd Nov

Join thousands of others to celebrate the Hindu, Sikh and Jain festival of lights during Diwali on Trafalgar Square.

Diwali traditionally symbolises joy, love, reflection, resolution, forgiveness, light and knowledge; and represents the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness. Enjoy music and dance performances, family-friendly craft activities, community stalls and delicious food from India and beyond, as part of a large programme of activities.

Diwali is timed to coincide with the new moon in October or November, so the actual date varies from year to year.
